Surreal surrounding as Gary mentioned! Very nice, rare and difficult capture. Your settings: F4.0 1/40 ISO100 I would have gone for a shorter exposure and higher ISO. Wonder what would have happened then. Capturing the animals and birds in the free nature is so much more interesting than in the zoo imo. Well done Ola!

I think the background becomes more complex and interesting than your subject. You may want to just shoot that shot again in this light because the background is interesting - and then capture the owl again in a different setting when you spot one! Good capture +8/10
